Peonies and flamingos.

Eclectic kitsch meets wildflower meadow.
Peonies and flamingos.

As themes go, this wedding had them all. I have known this couple for several years so I was T.h.r.i.l.l.e.d to be able to provide their wedding flowers.

The bridal bouquet was a mix of classic whites and greens that included scented roses and lily of the valley and she wore white orchids in her hair which could not have been more elegant.

The ceremony took place at the truly stunning Angel House in Hove which is a regency gem on the seafront - recently renovated by the owner, it provided the most stunning back drop for the couples nuptials where a simple arrangement of tropical leaves decorated the mantlepiece.

The reception took place at the fantastic Ginger Fox pub near Henfield, a well known gourmet pub/eatery manned by the most welcoming staff you have ever met.

The wedding flowers were a riot of kitsch and blowsy peonies and dahlias in shades of pink and corals arranged in to the brides personal collection of vases and containers. We suspended glass test tubes of wildflowers from the lampshades and decorated the adorable homemade wedding cake with matching florals. Oh and there were flamingos....
